It is important to consider each store and product environment on the basis of its unique character.
Every situation is different, and calls for a different approach.
It has become important to group similar items together since this helps the harried visitor to focus, resting the eye.
More -- especially more clutter -- is not better.
It is important to bring into the display contrasting, complimenting colors -- in this case green and natural.
It is important to "frame" the display with objects that lend to the desired "feel" of the product. In this case -- rock art and animal tracks - sand, dried weeds, rocks, pottery pieces, logs or cactus stems, etc. give the feel of being in the environment where the images naturally occur.

DISPLAY RECOMMENDATIONS/SUGGESTIONS:
In that Earthsongs products serve to strengthen the bond between buyer and the natural environment, it is recommended that the pieces be shown mixed together against a natural background. Please peruse catalogue or website images for colored photos. The following offers prop suggestions:
FOUNDATION MATERIALS:
- Bleached burlap or other light fabric with strong natural texture weave
- Leather (natural, tan or terra cotta color)
- Terra cotta color fabric
LARGER PROPS:
- Small boxes, 4 x 4 chunks for use under foundation fabric
- Weathered tree branch, driftwood, barnwood or cactus stem
- Small potted green plant to fit into round candle cover
SMALL PROPS:
- Sand and gravel
- Turquoise chips
- Baby's Breath or other small natural dried flower
- Dried foliage in green color for contrast
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place either small shelves, blocks of 4 x 4, or small boxes on display surface to create an interesting collage of pedestals of varying heights.
- Arrange pieces directly on pedestals until you are satisfied with aspects of height and balance. You will want to consider your use of larger propes here.
- Remove pieces from pedestals and drape your chosen foundation fabric over blocks in a loose and irregular, somewhat rippled or scrunched fashion.
- Sprinkle with sand and/or gravel.
- Replace pieces from pedestals, adjusting larger props where needed.
- Place sprigs of dried material and green foliage sparingly.
- Use candles, incense and dried arrangements provided to show what pieces will look like in a home setting.
If you have traffic from travelers, you may also want to show a boxed product or place well-labeled boxes on a shelf just under your display so it will be evident to the customer the product's ease of packing or shipping.
